At her core, Michelle A. Poindexter believes every person has a story — and that meaningful change begins when people gain clarity, shift perspective, and move forward with intention.

As a Certified Professional and Life Coach and Senior Global HR Professional, Michelle brings nearly two decades of experience across global Fortune 100 companies, within the semiconductor and hi-tech industries, and in matrixed, complex operating environments where people, performance, and purpose intersect. Her work spans individual development and organizational impact, helping people navigate growth, transition, and decision-making inside the systems that shape their lives and careers.

Through Purely Essence, Michelle partners with individuals and organizations alike — from young professionals and emerging leaders to seasoned managers and small business owners — to uncover strengths, identify gaps, and create structured pathways forward. Her approach blends thoughtful reflection with strategic guidance, creating frameworks that move people from insight into action.

Michelle also serves as a nonprofit board member with The Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic, which provides free legal services and education statewide to individuals who cannot afford them, grounded in the belief that everyone deserves access to justice regardless of income.
